My name is Jeff Kisseloff. I have written five history books, three of them oral histories. They are:
You Must Remember This: An Oral History of Manahttan From the 1890s to World War II
The Box: An Oral History of Television, 1920 to 1961
Generation on Fire: Voices of Protest From the 1960s
I have also written two books for teens on baseball: Who is Baseball’s Greatest Hitter? and Who is Baseball’s Greatest Pitcher?
While researching these books, I came across a lot of original material related to these topics. Much of it is pretty interesting, and since it seems selfish to keep it all for myself, I thought I’d share some of the more interesting samples through this blog. So watch, listen, read or just view pieces from my collection of interesting 20th century cultural history objects. If you have any comments, please email me.
